- Day 1 :Â Meeting of the participants at the Port of Piombino and boarding on the ferry to Portoferraio. Arrival in Portoferraio and transfer with the guide to the 3*** Hotel in Marina di Campo. Collection of the pocket lunch, short introductory technical briefing, bike check and departure towards Monte Tambone (377 m above sea level) for the first excursion of the trip. From here we will enjoy a view of all the gulfs of the southern part of the island. First exciting descent towards Lacona and easy ascent to the Serra del Literno, from here another adrenaline-filled descent on a different route. We go up from Literno towards the Serra del Pero, a technical and slightly more challenging trail that will take us back to Lacona from which we will then go back up to Colle Reciso and on a beautiful forest road until taking the last and
spectacular descent down the Sira, which takes us back to Marina di Campo. Packed lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon, return to the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight stay. - Day 2 : Breakfast in the hotel. Collection of the pocket lunch, short technical briefing, bike check and departure towards Monte Perone (630 m above sea level) for the most enduro trails on the whole island. We will face the climb passing through the village of Sant’Ilario and from here on asphalt with little traffic we will head towards the Parish Church of San Giovanni in Campo, after a short climb on a dirt road we will reach the start of the trails. Exciting ups and downs await us among fast, worked trails, the scene of international level competitions, which vary from earthy surfaces in a dense oak forest to huge, smooth granite blocks overlooking the sea. Here the paths built by Elba trailbuilders are many and varied, both in difficulty and pace. We will make some short ascents, going down the easier paths first to gradually increase the difficulty during the day. In the middle of the day we will stop to admire the view and have a pocket lunch at a beautiful panoramic point. At the end of the day we will go up to Masso alla Guata for the longest and most spectacular descent of all. We will have the time necessary to study the passages and enjoy every curve as well as take scenic souvenir photos on the spectacular passages overlooking the sea. In the afternoon return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
- Day 3 : Breakfast in the hotel. Collection of the pocket lunch, short technical briefing, bike check and departure towards Mount Capanne (1019 m above sea level), the highest mountain in the entire Tuscan archipelago. The third day will be dedicated to natural trails and technical terrain. Going up from Sant’Ilario we will head just below the summit of Mount Capanne via a beautiful coastal path, with some sections to be done on foot. At the top, a panoramic and never difficult descent awaits us towards the town of Poggio. From here a short stretch of asphalt road will take us to Marciana, probably the oldest settlement on Elba, where we can stop for lunch with a pocket lunch and perhaps have a nice ice cream since we are there is still some way to go; from Marciana we will go up a short stretch going around Monte Giove on a postcard path, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and with a privileged view towards the west and Corsica. Once we reach the Serraventosa saddle we will take a very long downhill trail in the direction of Pomonte, followed by a technical stop and ritual photo on one of the most beautiful paths on the island. From Pomonte we return via the coastal road to Marina di Campo. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
- Day 4 : Breakfast in the hotel. Pocket lunch collection and check-out procedures. Transfer with bikes to the beach for a well-deserved morning of relaxation by the sea. After lunch, return to the hotel, baggage collection and transfer to Portoferraio. Boarding the ferry and returning independently to your homes.
